Diwali is the “Festival of Lights” and is celebrated in South Asia at this time of year, where people light lamps outside of their homes to symbolise the victory of light over darkness. During Diwali, people also make patterns called Rangoli from coloured materials like powders or pastes. Learn how to make Rangoli with artist Jayamini de Silva.
